Restrictions and delays in public transport traffic are likely on April 27 from 13:00 until 14:00
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that on Saturday, April 27, the parade of biker will cause changes on some bus, tram and trolleybus routes from 13:00 until 14:00.
The bikers will start their traditional parade from trade centre „Mols” (Krasta Street 46), then will turn left to Krasta Street, then go by Dienvidu Bridge and along Ziepniekkalna Street, Mūkusalas Street, Kuģu Street, Trijādības Street, Raņķa dambis, Balasta dambis, Vanšu Bridge, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Hanzas Street, Eksporta Street and the 11th November Embankment.
In the above street sections, the traffic of transport, including that of public transport, will be hindered or suspended.
During the parade, some routes will be directed to by-pass roads, where it is possible:
- The traffic of buses No. 10 to the city centre will be organized by the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turnabout for going in the opposite direction (without reaching the turnabout in Mūkusalas Street), then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve until the on-ramp leading to Bauskas Street, then along Bauskas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
- The traffic of buses No. 23 and 26 and trolleybus No. 27 to the city centre will be organized by the route to Jelgavas Street, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, by Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
- The traffic of bus No. 24 to the city centre will be organized by the route to Skanstes Street, then along Skanstes Street, Sporta Street, Vesetas Street, Hanzas Street, Stabu Street, Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard and further by the route.
- The traffic of trolleybus No. 3 and bus No. 11 to the city centre will be organized by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Stabu Street, Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard and further by the route.
- The traffic of trolleybus No. 19 to Pētersalas Street will be organized by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Inženieru Street, Raiņa Boulevard and back in the direction of Pārdaugava.
- The traffic of tram No. 7 to the city centre will be organized by the route to Aspazijas Boulevard, then along Aspazijas Boulevard, Krišjāņa Barona Street, Radio Street, 13th January Street and further by the route to Ķengarags.
- The traffic of tram No. 11 to the city centre will be organized by the route to Railway Terminal Square.
